Tapkx Limited Warranty

We take quality seriously. This policy outlines clearly what is covered and what is not.

All Tapkx products are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues that might occur under normal use. It is extended only to the original end-use purchaser or the gift recipient and is not transferable.

Strict Exclusions (What’s Not Covered)

This limited warranty does NOT cover loss, normal wear and tear, accidents, or damages resulting from:

• Misuse & Negligence: Damage caused by improper handling, dropping, or negligence (such as but not limited to exposure to chemicals, caustic substances, open flame, high heat, liquid spills, and sharp objects).
• Unauthorized Modification: Any unauthorized repair, disassembly, modding (e.g., Tape Mod, Foam Mod affecting the PCB), or customization voids this warranty immediately.
• Aesthetic Issues: Keycap shine, light scratches from daily use, or natural aging of materials.
• Accessories: Lost tools, cables, packaging, or free gifts included in the box.

14-Day Defect Guarantee (Free Shipping)

If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect and you notify us within 14 days of delivery, we will gladly replace it or repair it with free shipping (we cover both ways).

Warranty Claims After 14 Days (Customer Pays Shipping)

If a defect arises after 14 days but within the 1-year warranty period:

• We will still provide the repair labor or replacement parts/unit for free.
• Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping costs involved. This includes the cost to ship the defective item to us AND the cost for us to ship the replacement/repaired unit back to you.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Email contact@tapkx.com with:
   • Your order number (Proof of Purchase).
   • A clear video or photo showing the defect.
   • A brief description of how the issue occurred.
2. We aim to respond within 24 business hours (Mon–Fri).
3. Inspection: Tapkx reserves the right to inspect the product to determine if the issue is a manufacturing defect or caused by misuse. If misuse is found, the warranty claim will be denied.

Important Notes

• Replacement or repaired items do not reset or extend the original warranty period.
• Tapkx may use an equivalent or refurbished unit as a replacement when appropriate.
• Warranty only applies to products purchased directly from tapkx.com. Purchases from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
